I was born in Oslo, Norway in 1993, the year when people were introduced to «Jurassic Park» on the movie screen, listened to the song «Informer» by Snow, and couldn’t get enough milk.
I grew up with my parents who introduced me to the beauty of nature from an early age, and fishing trips, hiking and camping have been important aspects of my life for as long as I can remember. After high-school, I decided to move to Tromsø to study geology. I had never travelled that far north before, and can still remember how I felt when those majestic mountains peeked through the clouds below us as we flew in. Throughout my time at University, my love for nature and passion for enviromental issues have grown, and is now a big part of who I am.
After a year of studying, I met my boyfriend who introduced me to photography. His images of the northern lights and the midnight sun were so beautiful, but my will to really spend time learning wasn’t present at the time.
Five years, and countless fun, beautiful and spontaneous adventures later, I finally sat down with my Canon EOS 600 D camera and figured out how it worked. It only took a couple of days, and I was hooked. The camera has now become a constant companion, and I try to utilize every opportunity to capture my surroundings. It feels awesome to be able to capture the beauty around me, and I hope that you’ll be able to see that passion in my photos. All the best,
